Henriette Arendt
Biography
Henriette Arendt was a German nurse and became Germany's first police assistant in Stuttgart in 1903. After a falling out with her superiors, she left the service at the end of 1908 and devoted herself primarily to lecturing and publishing on the subject of child trafficking.
