Featuring top MN artists with the range and flexibility to play everything from Daft Punk, and Ferrell Williams, to Billy Joel, Journey and the Doobie Brothers, with a few jazz standards thrown into the mix, The Dap Squad is the variety band you’ve been looking for.
Each musician has a resume that entire bands would be jealous of. Each artist in this ensemble has toured with or shared the stage with such artists as Prince, the Commodores, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, to Harry Connick Jr and Wynton Marsalis.
The Dap Squad can play as a 2-piece, up to a 15-piece band with a full stage and lighting rig. Our standard size is 5-7 musicians, but the band can expand or contract to accommodate your budget, space and sound needs.

★★★★★KABOOM!! Wow!! It felt like we went to an actual national concert! The musicians in this band are actually having fun and reacting to each other rather than just playing the recording exactly like the record. The Groomsmen formed a line against the stage to just melt in awe listening to the guitarist and amazing hammond player. Heck they all smashed it!! THANK YOU!! Working directly with our coordinator made everything feel special as he really cared about every detail being just right!! My friends have already reached out to hire them for their wedding and we will be there!!! Still buzzing!!

★★★★★Absolutely incredible – the sound was amazing and played a huge variety of music all night long. They even played some tunes a few little kiddos requested! Months after our wedding, people still text/call us saying how awesome the band was. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

★★★★★Jason and his band were an amazing addition to our wedding reception. They were all very talented and professional, and their performances made it a very classy and enjoyable evening. They even did an impromptu swing dance clinic for us and our guests! I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality entertainment at a fair price.

★★★★★Hands down the best band we could’ve chose for our wedding celebration. Got us all out on the dance floor and the songs they learned on request from us sounded better than the original! Could not be happier.

★★★★★We had THE best band ever with the Dap Squad. We love to dance and so do our friends. From the first song to the last song, the dance floor was full! We were told many times over the band was the best. We thought so, too!
